Spiralstring Challenge

Each week the Diva puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #210: “Spiralstring – that’s the thing!”. So here is what the Diva says this week “This week’s challenge is to use a spiral as your string… I like to come back to a simple spiral string because frankly i find them to be challenging because they don’t really close off anywhere.  PLUS they always look so cool.” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using a Spiralstring 🙂

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and am putting my attention to it. Spring is coming … the leaks all over the house are taking a break til a rainstorm and if we are lucking it won’t leak 🙂 I am feeling there is light at the end of the tunnel!! This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected! 🙂 🙂 Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!  I had not been in a position to return comments as I would wish :)  :)  Thank you!!  I am in the process of catching up 🙂

Which Tangle is Which?

Onamato is the spiral … the one with *all* the beads – rows of beads on the inside and out of the spiral.  I love that one and want to make it more precise another time.  Warts & Wobbles starts near the center of the spiral and stays next to Onamato.  A lot of the time there is not a lot of room for Warts and Wobbles – but I do like that tangle and was looking for something delicate :)  It is the ribbon with all the ruffles on both sides.  Floral Net is a lovely net tangle – one of my new favorites!!  Floral Net fills all the spaces around the spiral 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – and more stuff is dumped in there from the holidays!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!!
