K-A-Z Challenge

Each week Carolien and I put out a challenge for folks to make their representation of our idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #81: Tangle with K-A-Z. So here is what we say this week “This week is Challenge #81, the Alphabet challenge of K-A-Z. Use tangles starting with the letters K, A & Z in your drawing. It’s your choice to only use patterns with these letters or to add some others as well. Happy Tangling!! We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your K, A & Z.”  Thus this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using tangles that start with the letters K, A & Z.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last several years and so I have been intrigued and putting my attention to it.  So above is my Challenge ZIA. Here is the one that is colored, and one that is just lines 🙂 🙂   So what do you think? Do you like it? And which one do you prefer?  I am not sure which I prefer. I was in the flow!! Starting to heal at another deep level. There is still one piece of repair work to be done – from the intense winter 2 years ago!! 🙂 This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!!!

Which Tangle is Which?

Kochlea is the sea shells in the upper left. Flux is the leaves around Kochlea. Tipple is the bubbles around Kochlea and Flux. Pokeleaf is the hanging vine of heart flowers or leaves .. each one into the other. Zinger is the long streamers with little mushrooms on the tip of the streamers from Kochlea. Aquafleur is the big sea shell at the bottom right. Kelp is flowing behind Aquafleur and also around it. Zinger crosses both Kelp and Aquafleur.   🙂 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
