Sweetness and Elegance Each Day – Lady in Butterflies is a lovable portrait of a brown and white cocker spaniel puppy dog surrounded in a field of delicate butterflies. Lady is the centerfold in an outdoor festival of yellow, orange, aqua, lavender, purple and red butterflies. Lemon, amethyst, violet, salmon, magenta and teal butterflies dance and create music that whispers through the field of pink of flowers. A rainbow of butterflies circles this Brittany Spaniel with her deep brown eyes, long silky brown ears, sparkling white fur on her chest and some lovely sprinkles of chocolate freckles on her nose. A red heart is dangling from her collar. You may experience peace, serenity and healing as you look at my work.

Lady in Butterflies is part of my Fanciful Animal Images series. Lady is a sweet dog who is the princess of her home. She has great fun with my niece and nephew. Lady goes with them everywhere and is very indulged. This is an excellent gift for yourself or any dog lover. Lady is a delightful addition to any family with her elegance and sweetness – whether next to your computer on a mouse pad, mug, plate, shirt, tote bag, iPhone or iPad cover, puzzle or on your living room wall.

G-H-I Challenge

Each week Carolien and I put out a challenge for folks to make their representation of our idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #116: Tangle with G-H-I. So here is what we say this week “This week is Challenge #116, the Alphabet challenge of G, H & I. Use tangles starting with the letters G, H & I in your drawing. It’s your choice to only use patterns with these letters or to add some others as well. Happy Tangling!! We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your G, H & I.” Thus this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using tangles that start with the letters G, H & I.

Zentangle Enticed Me

So above is my Challenge ZIA.  I am excited that Carolien and I now realize we can make the thumbnails bigger!!  We are hoping others will join us again now that we are back on track!! So of course – this went in a very different direction than expected!!!

Do you like the one in colored pencil?  So do you like the line version?  I am upset how shaky I am at the moment!!!  🙂  But I like this line version a lot … I am not sure which I like better.   Then it is being hard for me to add color to some of these I have created since I like the lines so much. Then I get worried I will mess up the color 🙂 So do you have a preference?   🙂  🙂 🙂

Which Tangle is Which?

Gooderstone (Paisley) is the 2 flowers in the center. Hippie Flower is the tall flower on the left. Icanthis is the leafy flower on the right. ZInger is the little purple mushrooms 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

My NEW Studio NEWS and Thank You!

More things had been getting dumped into my studio. So I have mostly been derailed by my health, family issues and everything else.  🙂  BUT last week Susan and I started to pull things out that don’t belong there … and cleaning and organizing. So I can see why some people looking at the studio thought it wasn’t that bad. After taking out stuff that doesn’t belong there, it really doesn’t look that bad!! I am working to get more done in there this week 🙂 🙂 🙂  Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! So thank you!! ~ Diane Clancy

Which Tangle is Which?

Draz Day is the flower on the bottom left. Felbrigg is the flower on the bottom right. El Prado dances in the middle between them. ZeScen hangs from the top left with Yomaho being the hearts on its stem 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Which Tangle is Which?

Cranwich (Paisley) is the big flower on the bottom right.C-Yeah! is the tall flower on the left.Bud-head 1 is the 2 short flowers in the bottom middle. Amybaby is the 2 striped flowers in the middle left. B’Dylan is the 2 yellows flowers near the top middle. Astra is the blue flowers, one in the top right and the other near the bottom left 🙂 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Which Tangle is Which?

ZeScen is the 4 flowing vines that come in from the sides in all directions. Yomaho is the hearts on the vines of ZeScen. Xela is the 3 almost heart-shaped flowers, one in the bottom right, one near the upper left and one near the middle. Yess is the 3 sort of vine-like flowers planted in the middle bottom. One grows left, one right and one grows behind a Xela  🙂 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

This week is the Weekly Challenge #111: Tangle with R-S-T. So here is what we say this week “This week is Challenge #111, the Alphabet challenge of, R, S & T. Use tangles starting with the letters R, S & T in your drawing. It’s your choice to only use patterns with these letters or to add some others as well. Happy Tangling!! We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your R, S & T.” Thus this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using tangles that start with the letters R, S & T. Zentangle Enticed Me So above is my Challenge ZIA.  I am excited that Carolien and I now realize we can make the thumbnails bigger!!  We are hoping others will join us again now that we are back on track!! So of course – this went in a very different direction than expected!!!
