Now we are at Y-Z-A. When Carolien and I first started these challenges, we started going through the alphabet in sets of 3.  So I am sharing here what my entry to the first Y, Z & A looked like.  Hope you enjoy!  🙂

Y-Z-A Challenge

Each week Carolien and I put out a challenge for folks to make their representation of our idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #96: Tangle with Y-Z-A. So here is what we say this week “This week is Challenge #96, the Alphabet challenge of Y, Z & A. Use tangles starting with the letters Y, Z & A in your drawing. It’s your choice to only use patterns with these letters or to add some others as well. Happy Tangling!! We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your Y, Z & A.” Thus this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using tangles that start with the letters Y, Z & A.

Zentangle Enticed Me

So above is my Challenge ZIA.  I am excited that Carolien and I now realize we can make the thumbnails bigger!!  We are hoping others will join us again now that we are back on track!! This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!!!  Do you like the new one in colored pencil?  Do you like the line version?  🙂 I love the colored version. Actually, I also like last year’s version too …. do you have a preference?   🙂  🙂 🙂

Which Tangle is Which?

The leaves at the top are Albastro.  ZeScen is the tall plants on the bottom left.  Yomaho is the hearts on the stems of ZeScen. Zinger, Zilly and Ah Love You! are all little plants along the bottom. ZInger is the mushrooms with the tips of flowing feelers. Zilly is the mushrooms with the cherry on top. Ah Love You! is the round little cherry flowers coming out of leaves.   🙂 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
