J-#-Q Challenge

Each week Carolien and I put out a challenge for folks to make their representation of our idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #85: Tangle with J-#-Q. So here is what we say this week “This week is Challenge #85, the Alphabet challenge of J, # & Q (where # means number, a tangle beginning with a number). Use tangles starting with the letters J, # & Q in your drawing. It’s your choice to only use patterns with these letters or to add some others as well. Happy Tangling!! We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your J, # & Q.”  Thus this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using tangles that start with the letters J, # & Q.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last several years and so I have been intrigued and putting my attention to it.  So above is my Challenge ZIA. Do you like it? I decided this week to put the grayscale one in too since I like it. Which way do you like it?  (If you do 🙂 ) 🙂 I am glad Carolien and I are getting back to the Challenges  🙂  I have been very sick *again* these last 3 months. So this last week I have felt better. Because I am getting more of the health care I need.  There is still one piece of repair work to be done – from the intense winter 2 years ago!! 🙂 This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!!!

Which Tangle is Which?

Joki is a pile of curves on the right. Quickzly is the seed with long feelers on the left. 133 is the vine tangling around Joki and Quickzly. Tipple is the bubbles that have filled in spaces on Joki.  🙂 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
