F-U-N Challenge

Each week Carolien and I put out a challenge for folks to make their representation of our idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #46: Tangle with F-U-N. So here is what we say this week “This week is Challenge #46, the Alphabet challenge of F-U-N. Use tangles starting with the letters F, U & N in your drawing. It’s your choice to only use patterns with these letters or to add some others as well. Happy Tangling!! We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your F, U & N.” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using tangles that start with the letters F, U & N.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last several years and I have been intrigued and putting my attention to it. I put my name with a © more prominently to protect my work. So above is my F-U-N Challenge ZIA. 🙂 what do you think? Do you like it? 🙂 🙂 This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!! .. painting is going on and of course stretching out 🙂 Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!! I will catch up 🙂 🙂

Which Tangle is Which?

Flitter is the floating seeds wisps at the top – like Dandelions. Flos is the paired leaves on the tiny plant that have dots of love exploding out between the leaves. Fescu is the tiny plants at the bottom that curl at the top.  Uncorked is the large curled up plants.  Nerfy is the large curled ferns at the bottom right and left.  🙂 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
