New to Me Challenges

SuzyMosh Creations puts out a challenge for folks to make a representation of “That’s New to Me!” This week is the SuzyMosh Creations – New to Me T. Suzy says “I will post each Sunday a randomly selected letter that your new pattern has to start with. If you feel adventurous, use more than one new pattern that starts with that letter. … Remember that these need to be patterns you’ve never drawn before. You may use any other patterns that you wish in your drawing. You must use at least one New to Me pattern starting with the letter T. T is a repeat, so we have an an Artist Focus this week on Sandra Strait! Along with the random letter you’ll chose one pattern by that artist. You must use at least one pattern from Sandra Strait in your drawing.”

Tangle Me 3 Challenges

SuzyMosh Creations puts out a challenge for folks to make a representation of “Tangle Me 3!” This week is the SuzyMosh Creations – Tangle Me 3 Love Line. Suzy says “This week our pattern is Love Line … Your drawing must include the original pattern and two variations on that pattern. Remember, it’s a monotangle challenge—no other patterns can appear in your drawing.”

Last week Suzy said “This week our pattern is Lealad … Your drawing must include the original pattern and two variations on that pattern. Remember, it’s a monotangle challenge—no other patterns can appear in your drawing.”  So these are ZIAs (Zentangle Inspired Art) using Love Line and Lealad for Tangle Me 3.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last several years and I have been intrigued and putting my attention to it. I have been noticing it and wanting to try it – so this is the time!! 🙂 🙂 I put my name with a © more prominently since some folks’ zentangles are getting stolen and printed on posters and such. I had done no Zentangle for 10 days due to life circumstances … so here are 2 weeks for both challenges to have them in on time.  But I am still doing better at and staying in the flow!!! 🙂 🙂 A little bit of the construction moved ahead!! YAY!!

So above is my New to Me T and Sandra Strait Zentangle Tangle ZIA. The tangle New to Me T is Tuberiz. Sandra Strait designed Japonica.  Then is my New to Me Y (Yakity-Yak) Zentangle Tangle ZIA.  Then is my Tangle Me 3 Love Line and then Lealad Zentangle Tangle ZIAs. 🙂 🙂 These all – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!!  🙂 🙂 Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks!! That means a lot to me!!  I know I need to catch up!!!

Which Tangle is Which?

In New to Me T and Sandra Strait, Tuberiz is the pretty flowers hanging from the top.  Japonica are the plants growing up from the bottom.

In New to Me Y, Leef Chainz is the top layer of leaves across the top. Izland Flower is the lovely blossoms underneath Leef Chainz.  Next is Loops ‘n Leaves weaving across under Izland Flower.  Yakity-Yak is the 3 flowers with 2 leaves each and a 3 petaled flower in the middle. Loops ‘n Leaves is at the very bottom also.

The Tangle Me 3 are Monotangles so there is only 1 tangle for each of them. There you have it!! 🙂

My Studio and Thank You!

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Now with all the repair work my studio is getting filled up again, including with tons of empty boxes to store stuff room by room 🙂 Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!!
