Monotangle Maryhill: Maryhill
Monotangle Maryhill Challenge
Each week Joey puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the joey’s weekly tangle challenge #76. So here is what Joey says this week “Wow we’re half way through the Alphabet Monotangle Challenge! Can you believe it? So this week we’ll work with an M tangle and I have chosen a really cool one! I first used it for joey’s weekly challenge #19 (a long time ago!) and loved drawing it so today we’re going to do a Maryhill Monotangle (a monotangle is drawn using only 1 tangle pattern)” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) – a Monotangle Maryhill!!
Zentangle Enticed Me
Zentangle has become popular the last several years and I have been intrigued and putting my attention to it. 🙂 🙂 I put my name with a © more prominently since some folks’ zentangles are getting stolen and printed on posters and such. I started off not doing this quite right – but I think I got better over time … my lines at first didn’t all go to the corner – but the shading makes that look better I think. I am doing a lot better at staying in the flow!! 🙂 🙂 The wheelchair ramp is in … and looks great! We have run into a major problem on another project that may prevent a big piece from happening .. so juggling wildly!! So very wildly in many way … but I am more calm – thank goodness!! So above is my Monotangle Maryhill Zentangle Tangle ZIAs. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected 🙂 🙂 Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!
Which Tangle is Which?
This is easy – it is all Maryhill!! 🙂 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂
Diane & Carolien’s Weekly Zentangle Challenge
My friend Carolien and myself felt the need for having an extra Zentangle Challenge each week. Come join us in the fun!! Details at Diane & Carolien’s Weekly Zentangle Challenge.
My Studio and Thank You!
I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it !! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) I have no idea how we are going to handle having 4 rooms painted from the water damage – and one being the studio!!! 🙂 🙂 Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! Thank you!! ~ Diane Clancy
