UMT CanT: CanT
UMT CanT and Stripes String Challenges
Each week the Diva puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #235: “String Theory: Stripes”. So here is what the Diva says this week “This week’s challenge is to take your pencil and draw stripes across your tile or paper to create your string. Simple as that.”
Last week is the Weekly Challenge #234: “UMT – CanT by Chris Titus, CZT”. So here is what the Diva says last week “One of the great things that came out of CanTangle this summer was the discovery of a new and amazing tangle during one of the workshops. Â The tangle is called CanT (CanTangle) and it was discovered and shared by Chris Titus. Usually the first monday of the month is when i share a tangle created by one of YOU, but i emailed Chris and i asked if i could share her tangle with y’all – and lucky us… she said yes!” So these are little ZIAs (Zentangle Inspired Art) using UMT CanT and also a Stripes String.
Zentangle Enticed Me
Zentangle has become popular the last several years and I have been intrigued and putting my attention to it. I put my name with a © more prominently since some folks’ zentangles are getting stolen and printed on posters and such. I had done no Zentangle for 10 days due to life circumstances … so here are 2 weeks. But I am still doing better at and staying in the flow!!! 🙂 🙂 A little bit of the construction moved ahead!! YAY!! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. I need to catch up again!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Which Tangle is Which?
Nipa is the third stripe from the top left. It is also the top left and bottom right stripe. Coaster is the 2nd from the top left stripe. After Nipa which is that comes Star Map. Floral Net comes next. Then is Fish Net. Upholstered is the top right stripe – at a 90 degree angle to the other stripes. Under that is Chime. Yomaho is the last strip!!
The second one is easy!! It is all CanTÂ 🙂 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂
Diane & Carolien’s Weekly Zentangle Challenge
My friend Carolien and myself felt the need for having an extra Zentangle Challenge each week. Come join us in the fun!! Details at Diane & Carolien’s Weekly Zentangle Challenge.
My Studio and Thank You!
I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – and more stuff is dumped in there from the holidays!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! NOW with all the repair work to come, there will be more dumping!! LOL!!) But even my studio got damaged 🙂 Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! Thank you!! ~ Diane Clancy
