Y-H-A Challenge

Each week Carolien and I put out a challenge for folks to make their representation of our idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #13: Tangle with Y-H-A. So here is what we say this week “This week is Challenge #13, the Alphabet challenge of Y-H-A. Use tangles starting with the letters Y, H & A in your drawing. It’s your choice to only use patterns with these letters or to add some others as well. Happy Tangling!! We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your Y, H & A” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using tangles that start with Y, H & A.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last several years and I have been intrigued and putting my attention to it. So above is my Y-H-A Challenge ZIA. 🙂 what do you think? 🙂 :)   Do you like the color better?  Does it add anything … or subtract?  This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!! The roof has been started and we have figured out a couple of things with the repair – so I am very relieved!! and getting back in the flow!!! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!! 🙂 🙂

Which Tangle is Which?

Hippie Flower is the stack of flowers on the left. Hartswag is on the far right, the line of hearts dancing one on top of the other.  Yanna is the banner across the top. Amanita is the set of mushrooms near the bottom left.  I would like to do them again to work out the kinks.   Antidots is the cascades of flowers near the bottom, some right side up and some upside down.  Yamaho is the lines of hearts that create stems near the middle bottom right.  Artoo is the puffy flowers off the stems of Yamaho  🙂   There you have it!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

My Studio and Thank You!

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!)
