J-W-O Challenge

Each week Carolien and I put out a challenge for folks to make their representation of our idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #12: Tangle with J-W-O. So here is what we say this week “This week is Challenge #12, the Alphabet challenge of J-W-O. Use tangles starting with the letters J, W & O in your drawing. It’s your choice to only use patterns with these letters or to add some others as well. Happy Tangling!! We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your J, W & O ” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using tangles that start with J, W & O

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last several years and I have been intrigued and putting my attention to it. So above is my J-W-O Challenge ZIA. 🙂 what do you think? 🙂 🙂 This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!! Well, between having to fix the foundation, the roof and lots and lots inside, the summer is not going to be what I had hoped for – but got the ball rolling on some of it (my part anyway) so now I need to find a way to get back in the flow!!! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!

Which Tangle is Which?

Offkey is the brick wall at the bottom of this image.  Orb Pods is the 2 flowers on Offkey. Joa is the vine of circles and swirls on the far right.  Jax is the vine of balls and jacks on the far left.  Watermelon Seedz is the vine of watermelon seeds 2nd from the left.  Wist is the vines of leaves, the 3rd vine from the left and the 4 vines 2nd through 5th from the right.  And finally, Wired is the vine 4th from the left – a little wire with spikes.  There you have it!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

My Studio and Thank You!

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!)
