Tangle Quandary Challenge
Each week Joey puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the joey’s weekly tangle challenge #60. So here is what Joey says this week “Since the nice weather arrived I confess that I haven’t set aside much time to draw. I thought about taking a break from these challenges since I wasn’t completing them myself, but I quickly changed my mind as it’s something that I enjoy doing and you shouldn’t give up things that you enjoy just because things get busy. Right! So this week I want us to use the tangle Quandary.
This is one of Maria and Rick’s tangles and perusing their website reminded me that making sure that I take time to relax with paper and pen is what’s most important here. Tangling can often turn a ‘quandary’ into ‘clarity’ within a few minutes. Wishing you a week of warm weather so that you can tangle outside!” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using Tangle Quandary!!
Zentangle Enticed Me
Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. Spring is here 🙂 🙂 It is taking quite a lot of time to deal with repairs from a very hard winter!! So above is my Tangle Quandary Zentangle Tangle ZIAs. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected – I had no clue what to do, minute to minute 🙂 🙂 Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!
Which Tangle is Which?
Quandary is the rice in star shapes. Lilypads is the the little Lily Pads underneath Quandary. Chimidle is all the umbrellas that dance around Lilypads and Quandary.  Zinger, Flos and Springkle all grow out of Chimidle. Flos is the leaves coming off a stem with dots that come from between the leaves. Zinger is the mushrooms on stems with a little top and then the mushroom springs out. Springkle is the mushroom with the curl for a stem, so an open top and then the mushroom comes springing out.  🙂 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂
Diane & Carolien’s Weekly Zentangle Challenge
My friend Carolien and myself felt the need for having an extra Zentangle Challenge each week. Come join us in the fun!! Details at Diane & Carolien’s Weekly Zentangle Challenge.
My Studio and Thank You!
I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!! And with all the leaks – it is a LOT!!) But the leaks have slowed down so I have gotten a couple of things cleared out 🙂 🙂 Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! Thank you!! ~ Diane Clancy

You did it! Your Quandary is wonderful. I like your LilyPads, too.
I’ve never seen Chimidle before. Charming. I’ll have to find it and give it a try.
Thank you so very much, Emily!! Chimidle has been one of my favs 🙂 🙂
Loved the mix of tangles and how you have so much talent at weaving things together nicely. Such a pleasure to see! Sarah
Thank you so much, Sarah!! I am pleased that I seem to be at a new level for me 🙂 🙂
