Twizted Challenge

Occasionally some friends put out a challenge for folks to make a representation of their idea. It is Elaine’s turn to choose. This week is the Tangled Thursday – Time to try Twizted. Heather says “Our challenge is to use the tangle Twizted . That’s it, give it a try and use it somehow.  Thanks Elaine, I haven’t tried this one. To me it looks like braided hair. This tangle looks like one where it will make a difference whether I do it large scale or tiny scale. … Have fun playing with Twizted , create a post, them come back and link up with Mister Linky.” So this is a ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using Twizted.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. I am starting to see light at the end of the tunnel – although there will be some real repair work in the house from this winter 🙂 So above is my Twizted Zentangle Tangle ZIA. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected. I had real problems with this tangle!!  I would have liked to have the steps much more broken down!!!  🙂 Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!

Which Tangle is Which?

Twizted is the big feather in the middle left.  I added the tip of the feather and the shaft at the bottom of the Twizted to create a feather :)  Vigne is the flower that goes through the feather – from the middle bottom to the middle top.  I wish I hadn’t made it quite so vertical :)  🙂  Loops ‘n Leaves is the vine across the top.  Chimidle is the umbrellas and pearls that start on the middle left and dance across the bottom and up to the top right, meandering all the way!  B’Dylan is the dandelions in the bottom left and near the bottom right.  Floral Net is the netting on the outside of  Chimidle in the right, bottom and a little on the left.  There you have it!! 🙂
