Sand Photo String Challenge
Each week Joey puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the joey’s weekly tangle challenge #57. So here is what Joey says this week “I hope that you enjoyed the “Spring” challenges, now I’m challenging you to try something totally different. I enjoy photographing nature partly because I like to look for the hidden patterns and shapes that nature has a way of creating. This gave me the idea for a new kind of challenge – use this nature photo as a string (Joey, I hope it is ok I am sharing this – hoping others will join in :)Â )
Draw the string that you see in the photo and then fill with tangles of your choice. I look forward to seeing your design!” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using a Sand Photo String!!
Zentangle Enticed Me
Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. Spring is tentatively here 🙂 🙂 So above is my Sand Photo String Zentangle Tangle ZIAs. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!
Which Tangle is Which?
I am going to start in the upper right corner and proceed leftward. Wist is the 4 strands of leaves in the upper right corner.  Loops ‘n Leaves is to the left. Then to the left is Leef Chainz. Ojo is the caterpillar to the left of Leef Chainz. And Harted Vineis at the far left. There you have it!! 🙂
Diane & Carolien’s Weekly Zentangle Challenge
My friend Carolien and myself felt the need for having an extra Zentangle Challenge each week. Come join us in the fun!! Details at Diane & Carolien’s Weekly Zentangle Challenge.
My Studio and Thank You!
I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!! And with all the leaks – it is a LOT!!) But the leaks have slowed down so I have gotten a couple of things cleared out 🙂 🙂 Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! Thank you!! ~ Diane Clancy
