Cat-Kin Challenge
Each week Joey puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the joey’s weekly tangle challenge #55. So here is what Joey says this week “For the next few weeks my challenges are going to relate to things you may see during the Spring season. Being a gardener, spotting new buds on the trees is one of the first things I enjoy about Spring, so this week’s challenge is to tangle with the Cat-kin. I recently used this tangle for the first time and I really liked how delicate it turned out. I hope you enjoy using it too! Happy Spring!” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using Cat-Kin!!
Zentangle Enticed Me
Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. So it looks like Spring may be coming soon here 🙂 🙂 So above is my Cat-Kin Zentangle Tangle ZIAs. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!
Which Tangle is Which?
Dinesawr is the 2 bands in the middle (up and down) that look like lizard or dinosaur skin. Between the Dinesawr the peppermint patties floating down are Cack. Balloya is the sets of parallel lines in a triangular pattern, both to the right and left of Dinesawr.  C-Yeah is the flowers on top of Balloya to the left of Dinesawr. Cat-Kin is the pussy willows on top of Balloya to the right of Dinesawr.  There you have it!! 🙂
Diane & Carolien’s Weekly Zentangle Challenge
My friend Carolien and myself felt the need for having an extra Zentangle Challenge each week. Come join us in the fun!! Details at Diane & Carolien’s Weekly Zentangle Challenge.
My Studio and Thank You!
I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!! And with all the leaks – it is a LOT!!) But the leaks have slowed down so I have gotten a couple of things cleared out 🙂 🙂 Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! Thank you!! ~ Diane Clancy

Joey, it will be so much fun to have you be part of our challenges too 🙂 Thank you!! 🙂
I love Cat-Kin, yours is beautiful. I like the lines that you can see through C-Yeah a little bit less. But all together it’s wonderful!
Thank you, Zandiepants for saying my Cat-Kin is beautiful!! I agree the C-Yeah doesn’t work as well – it is too transparent and busy 🙂
