J-K-L Challenge

Each week Carolien and I put out a challenge for folks to make their representation of our idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #4: Tangle with J-K-L. So here is what we say this week “This week is Challenge #4, the Alphabet challenge of J-K-L. Use tangles starting with the letters J, K & L in your drawing. Itâ€™s your choice to only use patterns with these letters or to add some others as well. Happy Tangling!! We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your J, K & L” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using tangles that start with J, K & L.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. Spring is pretty much here!!! 🙂 🙂 So above is my J-K-L Challenge ZIA. 🙂 This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!

Which Tangle is Which?

Knightsbridge is the foundation of this garden. Lot is the sun in the upper left.Â J-Burst is the the 3 stars in the sky.Â Lyptus is the 4 plants on the left.Â Lolo are the 2 plants to the right of Lyptus.Â Kings Crown is to the right of Lolo.Â Leef Chainz is the bush on the right.Â There you have it!! 🙂

My Studio and Thank You!

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!! Each week Joey puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the joey’s weekly tangle challenge #58. So here is what Joey says this week “This week I’m feeling musical. So I thought we would use string 121 with some chimes. Put on your favourite music and let’s see what you come up with.” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using a String 121 Chime!!
