Tangles That Start With V-W-X Challenge

Each week Artful Creations puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the Tangles That Start With V-W-X. So here is what Artful Creations says this week “Tackle It Tuesday, Tangles That Start With V-W-X. You may use all or as many as you choose.” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using tangles that start with V-W-X.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. The last 3 weeks have been very stressful with snow and cold and family related issues – but I know we are not alone!! 🙂 So above is my Tangles That Start With V-W-X Zentangle Tangle ZIA. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected! I have this sort of feeling in my body and mind and I strive to put it on paper 🙂 Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!

Which Tangle is Which?

Wartz is the warty looking band at the very bottom.  XYP is the more delicate band above Wartz. Vega is the crisscross band in the upper right corner.  Xerexez is the thing in both the upper right and upper left corners – the thing that waves its arms around.  Well, maybe better luck (and skill) next time – I should have given it more room :)  Wist is the vines hanging off Vega.  Weed Topper is the 5 flowers on top of XYP that sort of looks like weeds.  XPetal is the flower near the bottom left corner on top of XYP – the one that should have been made smaller – who knew how it grew?   Vigna is the lovely vine growing up behind XPetal, to the left of Wist.  I want to try that one again – I really like it 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!!
