New to Me A : Arcodos, AA’s, Star Map, Neuron

New to Me A Challenge

SuzyMosh Creations puts out a challenge for folks to make a representation of “That’s New to Me!” This week is the SuzyMosh Creations – New to Me A. Suzy says “I will post each Sunday a randomly selected letter that your new pattern has to start with. If you feel adventurous, use more than one new pattern that starts with that letter. … Remember that these need to be patterns you’ve never drawn before. You may use any other patterns that you wish in your drawing. You must use at least one New to Me pattern starting with the letter A.” So this is a ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using New to Me A – Arcodos and AA’s.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. Still being very rough with issues around snow and ice – lot of leaks and the car and some other issues. So above is my New to Me A Zentangle Tangle ZIA. These tangles New to Me A are Arcodos and AA’s. 🙂 This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!!  Very different this time!! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!

Which Tangle is Which?

Arcodos is the little thingies in the top right corner and toward the top center.  Some are colored in and some aren’t.  I need to try this another time because it is too tucked in and deserves more space.  The one who got the most space is the AA’s.  These are upside down here. I tried a bunch of variations and some look pretty cool I think :)  This is a script-y A in rows or columns or alone.  The AA’s takes up the whole center middle down to the bottom middle. Neuron is in the upper right corner.  On the middle to bottom right and left sides is Star Map.  There you have it!! 🙂

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!  And with leaks all over the house a lot is dumped in my studio right now!!) Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! Thank you!! ~ Diane Clancy
