Saint Patty’s Challenge

Each week the Diva puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #209: “Saint Patty’s”. So here is what the Diva says this week “i love a holiday themed challenge.  This week’s challenge is to GREEN UP your tile. … You can add green however you like! A green paper, or a green pen, a green marker or green pencil crayon shading… or maybe some other kind of awesome green thing that i haven’t even thought of!!  You could also incorporate St. Patrick’s day, tangling a shamrock or a rainbow with a pot of gold, or a leprechaun…. Should be fun!!” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) about Saint Patty’s 🙂

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and am putting my attention to it. I am having some hope that spring may well come … and bring with it some relief of the winter problems of this year 🙂 and other issues too! The leaks all over the house are taking a break til a rainstorm and if we are lucking it won’t leak  🙂 This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected! 🙂 🙂 Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!! I am in the process of catching up 🙂

Which Tangle is Which?

The green swoop that starts in the upper right corner, down to the middle and then up again toward the upper left corner with blossoms and leaves is Aommes.  Bulb Lantern is the row of round lanterns at the top middle and left.  Creeper is smack in the middle – the flower and leaves. Fair Tale is the spirals and leaves on the right side.  Chimidle is the upside down umbrellas, strung together with pearls, that starts in the bottom middle and winds up the left side.  Floral Net is the netting in the background that holds everything together. There you have it!! 🙂

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – and more stuff is dumped in there from the holidays!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!!
