Tangles That Start With J-K-L Challenge

Each week Artful Creations puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the Tangles That Start With J-K-L. So here is what Artful Creations says this week “Tackle It Tuesday, Tangles That Start With J-K-L. You may use all or as many as you choose.” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using tangles that start with J-K-L.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. The last 10 days have been very stressful with snow and cold related issues – but I know we are not alone!!  So above is my Tangles That Start With J-K-L Zentangle Tangle ZIA. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected! I had expected to repeat Lolo and LinQ but it seems finished with all this open space so I decided it was done 🙂 Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!

Which Tangle is Which?

Knightsbridge is the checkerboard in the upper right.  The circle in it was my first try at that – I have ideas for another time.  That is something I have wanted to try for a long time. Lolo is the little row of hearts dancing to the right of Knightsbridge. LinQ is dancing to the left of Knightsbridge.  JessiCup is the arch underneath Knightsbridge. Krli-Q is the scrolls under JessiCup. There you have it!! 🙂

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!!
