New to Me W Challenge

SuzyMosh Creations puts out a challenge for folks to make a representation of “That’s New to Me!” This week is the SuzyMosh Creations – New to Me W. Suzy says “I will post each Sunday a randomly selected letter that your new pattern has to start with. If you feel adventurous, use more than one new pattern that starts with that letter. … Remember that these need to be patterns you’ve never drawn before. You may use any other patterns that you wish in your drawing. You must use at least one New to Me pattern starting with the letter W.” So this is a ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using New to Me M – Wist and Wired.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. I am able to be more in the flow again – whew! So above is my New to Me M – Wist Zentangle Tangle ZIA.   But earlier today I did another W challenge and used for the first time: Warts & Wobbles, Wavy Border, Window Grilles and a new to me variation of Well.  This tangle New to Me is Wist and Wired.  So I think all this counts!  🙂 This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!

Which Tangle is Which?

Wavy Border is in the upper left.  Waax is in the upper right. Under Waax and Wavy Border lies Window Grilles … still working on getting them right.  There are 2 or 3 variations there – I think I need to work bigger on this one 🙂 Under Window Grilles, Warts & Wobbles plays along from side to side in just about the middle. Under Warts & Wobbles is my 2nd attempt at a variation of Well.  Some places it looks so pretty!!  (like a version Marie did) :)  Wist flows up from both the bottom right and left corners … if you put it upside down, then Wist will hang down.  Widgets play to the right and left of Warts & Wobbles and underneath Well.  Wired weaves around the tike popping in here and there 🙂 There you have it!! 🙂

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Thank you for stopping by!!
