New to Me S : Sundoo, Star Map, Strickles, Sp-Eye-Ryl, Snag, Sprigs

New to Me S Challenge

SuzyMosh Creations puts out a challenge for folks to make a representation of “That’s New to Me!” This week is the SuzyMosh Creations – New to Me S. Suzy says “I will post each Sunday a randomly selected letter that your new pattern has to start with. If you feel adventurous, use more than one new pattern that starts with that letter. … Remember that these need to be patterns you’ve never drawn before. You may use any other patterns that you wish in your drawing. You must use at least one New to Me pattern starting with the letter S.” So this is a ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using New to Me S – Sundoo, Star Map, Snag and Sprigs.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. I am able to be more in the flow again – whew! So above is my New to Me S  Zentangle Tangle ZIA. This tangle New to Me is Sundoo, Star Map, Snag and Sprigs. 🙂 This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!

Which Tangle is Which?

Snag is the pointed stars in the upper left.  Strickles is the bubbles that are black and white near the upper right corner.  Star Map is sky with lines and stars in the middle of the bottom.  Sprigs are the flowers that pop down from the upper middle and one pops up to the left of Star Map.  Sp-Eye-Ryl are the graceful spirals at the bottom right and left corners.  Sundoo (flowers) floats between Sp-Eye-Ryl and Strickles on the right and between Sp-Eye-Ryl and Snag on the left. There you have it!! 🙂

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!!
