Tangles That Start With C-A-R-S Challenge

Each week Artful Creations puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the Tangles That Start With C-A-R-S. So here is what Artful Creations says this week “Tackle It Tuesday, Tangles That Start With C-A-R-S. You may use all or as many as you choose.” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using tangles that start with C-A-R-S.

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. I am able to be more in the flow again – whew! This is the 1st time I have entered Artful Creations. So above is my Tangles That Start With C-A-R-S Zentangle Tangle ZIA. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!

Which Tangle is Which?

The heart that looks like a seashell on the middle left is Aquafleur.  The line of triangles that start on the bottom and wind around the right to the top is Rixty.  The Pussy Willows that are to the side of Aquafleur on the left and also at the middle of the bottom of the tile are Cat-Kin.  The leaves that emerge from the bottom left corner and have feathers at the top of their spirals are SP-Eye-Ryl.  The SP-Eye-Ryl also play around the Rixty at the right   :)  There you have it!! 🙂

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! ~ Diane Clancy
