New to Me C Challenge
SuzyMosh Creations puts out a challenge for folks to make a representation of “That’s New to Me!” This week is the SuzyMosh Creations – New to Me C. Suzy says “I will post each Sunday a randomly selected letter that your new pattern has to start with. If you feel adventurous, use more than one new pattern that starts with that letter. … Remember that these need to be patterns you’ve never drawn before. You may use any other patterns that you wish in your drawing. You must use at least one New to Me pattern starting with the letter C.” So this is a ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using New to Me C – Confettus.
Zentangle Enticed Me
Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. I am able to be more in the flow again – whew! So above is my New to Me C – Confettus Zentangle Tangle ZIA. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!! I am still in the process of catching up. I now have a rhythm of what challenges I am entering … so that should help 🙂
Which Tangle is Which?
The arch that goes from near the bottom left to the top right is H2O Lily ~ that is a water lily. I may try to color it in another time when I use it. This the best (and biggest) I have drawn it yet and I am happy with how it came out. (not judging my work or anything 🙂 ) (I am aware you are not “supposed” to 🙂 ) Rixty is in the bottom right area – the black triangles dancing in a line. Chime is the wind chimes that are hanging down from the top left down to the bottom left. I think those are so much fun!! Confettus is my New to Me C. It is the pretty little black strands that are dancing everywhere except the top left. Another time I may try using thorns or hearts instead of the baubles as the creator suggests for a variation. I meant to put just those balls in color and see how that turned out – but I forget to do that in time. There you have it!! 🙂
I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! ~ Diane Clancy

Lovely tile. Nice combination of patterns. I have not used Confettus before, but I am looking forward to doing so.
Thank you, Nathalie 🙂 🙂 Confettus turned out to be fun 🙂 🙂
