Lucky in ’15: Using Lucky with String 15
Lucky in ’15Â Challenge
Each week Joey puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the joey’s weekly tangle challenge #42. So here is what Joey says this week “The first challenge of the year is also my wish for the days ahead.
I hope that you are all
Lucky in ‘15!

Zentangle Enticed Me
Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. I am able to be more in the flow again – whew! This is only the 2nd time I have entered Joey so glad I decided to do this again. So above is my Lucky in ’15. Zentangle Tangle ZIA. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!
Which Tangle is Which?
This one is simple :) All the tangles are supposed to be Lucky, using the string 15. This was not an easy one for me at all. In the first place I am not used working with strings at all (that others have created). Also, square patterns and I have not had the best relationship – I am working to improve that :) And usually I work to the edge of the paper so that is new to me also. Plus (yes there is more) this is the first time I have used these colored pens like this and also used the colored pencils in this way.
If I had it to do again, I would make one big square and draw the lines across it to make squares and then put the string in. For me, this would have worked better 🙂 So an exciting experiment all the way around. There you have it!! 🙂
I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! ~ Diane Clancy
