String 10 and Joy Challenge

Each week Joey puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the joey’s weekly tangle challenge #44. So here is what Joey says this week “My son turns 10 years old this week! So to celebrate his special day, and the past 10 years of joy that he has brought us, let’s use String 10 and the tangle Joy!” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using a String 10 and Joy. Happy 10th birthday!!! :)  🙂

Zentangle Enticed Me

Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. I am able to be more in the flow again – whew! I am glad I decided to do Joey’s again. So above are my String 10 and Joy Zentangle Tangle ZIAs. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected!  Even for something so simple :)  🙂 Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!

Which Tangle is Which?

Joy and Ahh are similar but different.  Alternating sections of the string are filled with each.  Joy is the tangle in the upper right and left corners with someone spinning in joy as their arms twirl around.  Ahh is the snowflakes in the bottom right and left corners.  Everything flows from these.  There you have it!! 🙂

I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! ~ Diane Clancy
