DuoTangle: Chebucto Copada Challenge
Each week the Diva puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #202: “DuoTangle: Chebucto vs Copad”. So here is what the Diva says this week “This week’s challenge is to create a DuoTangle, which is a tile using ONLY the two tangles given.  This week those two tangles are Chebucto and Copada.  This is the first time that the DuoTangle challenge has NOT been two official Zentangle tangles.  These tangles are by my fellow Saskatonian CZT – Margaret Bremner.” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using Chebucto and Copada 🙂
Zentangle Enticed Me
Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and am putting my attention to it. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected! I am frustrated – I was trying a concept I saw and loved and didn’t get there :)Â 🙂 Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!! I am still catching up on replying to your comments – but I will 🙂
Which Tangle is Which?
The 2 bands (one starts on the middle left and goes up and the other starts on the middle bottom and go to the top right) in green, pink and blue colors are Copada. Chebucto is the diamond shaped bands – one goes from top left to the middle of the right and the other goes from the middle of the left to the bottom right. There you have it!! 🙂
I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – and more stuff is dumped in there from the holidays!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! ~ Diane Clancy

Thank you so much Lily for saying this is lovely!! 🙂 🙂
I love the colors on this black tile, Diane. It brought back memories of the fun we would have on a good old fashioned chalkboard. Very nice!
Yes, Jean – those chalkboards (or sidewalks) were fun!! Thank you for loving it!! 🙂
This is the second black tile I have seen for this challenge attempt. Love the colors on the black.
Cool about seeing another also – color can be lovely on black!! 🙂 🙂
Love this! You’re really good with the black tiles. It pops and moves. Well done 😀

Diane, love the colors on the black background. I love working on the black too…it really has that extra “pop” factor. Someone mentioned that yours has a chalk on blackboard feel to it …very true and very cool.
Thank you, Lynell!! Yes it us fun to work on the black background!! Yes pop is a good name for it 🙂 Thank you!!
