SNOW: Scrumble, Nevelope, Ojo, Widgets
Each week Joey puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the joey’s weekly tangle challenge #37. So here is what Joey says this week ” We had our first dusting of snow this past weekend so I’m officially in the winter spirit now.
(standing in the freezing temperature watching my son play soccer Saturday morning
had a way of making it clear that winter really is here! Brrr!)
So this week’s challenge is to use the following tangles:
S – Scrumble
N – Nvelope
O – Ojo
W – Widgets
Choose a string or use a plain frame (square, circle, etc) ” So this is a little ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) using SNOW.
Zentangle Enticed Me
Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. I am able to be more in the flow again – whew! I just found Joey today and decided to enter the challenge. So above is my SNOW. Zentangle Tangle ZIA. This – of course – went in a very different direction than expected! Thank you to everyone who made comments on my posts these last weeks. That means a lot to me!!
Which Tangle is Which?
The circle in the middle is Nevelope. The upper circle is Scrumble. The joyful dancing caterpillar is Ojo. Ojo was the very first tangle I ever tried and I love it (I am sure you can see.) The other joyful, loose tangle is all those little Widgets spread around – they are not connected to the dancing line. There you have it!! 🙂
I am organizing my studio again to be able to work and now only a table has tons of stuff dumped on it – but the rest is organized!! (My studio always gets filled up when there are projects in the house that need a place to dump a bunch of stuff for awhile!! LOL!!) Thank you for stopping by!! I LOVE comments!! ~ Diane Clancy
