Spiral Zentangle Challenge Entry
Each week the Diva puts out a challenge for folks to make their representation of her idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #160: “String Theory: Spiral out, Keep Going! (v.2)“. So here is what the Diva says “There’s so much i love about a good spiral. Â Spirals exist EVERYWHERE in nature.” So this is a ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) created with any spiral.
Zentangle Enticed Me
Zentangle has become popular the last couple of years and I have been intrigued and just starting put my attention to it. I wanted to try some tangles that are new to me to practice so here is my Spiral ZIA. It is simple compared to last weeks but I think I like it this way!
Which Tangle is Which?
The one at the bottom is Gigglevine – this is new to me. The dancing bottles in a spiral to the right are Geisel. The circles in a spiral on the left with lines with flowing curls are Binial. My hands are shaking today so Binial didn’t come out as I would have wished.
I have been slowly sharing my other ones on Facebook. I changed to using Art Card size (2.5×3.5″) since I have a bunch cut out already from good quality paper. It might not be as smooth as it should be. But I am learning! And my studio is getting more organized so maybe I can cut some new paper!! I can’t wait to find my black paper and do some cutting!
