Two Things Challenge – Spade and Morning Entry
Two Things Challenge – Spade and Morning Entry
I like to enter the Two Things Challenge each week. This week is Spade and Morning. This is my vibrant, colorful painting of Two Things Challenge – Spade and Morning. I got the idea from my friend Kristina’s entry. So the image in the left Spade is Sunrise IV … and the image in the righthand Spade is Sunrise Blossoms. Sunrise Blossoms is an original small pastel painting (Art Card, ACEO) … Do you think it looks good .. or rather works for Spade and Morning? Please enter the Giveaway mentioned below – free business cards!!
Goof Last Week
Last week I thought the Challenge and Dry and Broom. It was actually Dry and Boom!! Ha ha ha – joke on me!! It would have been a lot easier if I were using the right set of words!! Larry pointed it out to me and said it actually works better for Dry and Boom – I agree!
Do you Like This?
Do you like this? What do you see in it? I might actually like this … what do you think? Susan did like it a lot! Do you think this would look good on Zazzle or CafePress? I am thinking it is not really ready to be on products … but I am never quite sure what others will like!! Thank you!!
True Name for Spade and Morning?
Is this image worth getting a true name? I am not sure at all. Got any ideas for a True Name? What do you see in this painting? How do you see it?
I hope you enjoy it!! Thank you for this challenge! Here are the entries for the other week’s Dry and Boom. Anyone can join in, and I hope you give it a try!! We would love more people playing with us!

Big Blog News
My regular readers will see that I have a new look on the blog. Things are moving more slowly than I wish!! I think this will look a lot better but clearly I have a lot of work left to do – especially on the sidebar. I think I like the background being the black rather than a light purple. I do think it goes much more seamlessly with my Zazzle and CafePress shops. I will be asking for opinions. I did some work on the front page of my site Diane Clancy’s Art (https://www.dianeclancy.com) Also, I created a new page for Events. I am determined to get more on top of keeping everything fresher.
And yes, adding the sidebar is taking me MUCH longer than I expected or wanted … going to try this week!! Things are slow with dealing with health issues.
If you have any opinions, please share them … if you want to know what has been going on for me, please read my Facebook page http://facebook.com/DianeClancy.
I hope you are all well!! I feel like I am making progress getting back on solid ground. Thank you and I hope you enjoy your day!! ~ Diane Clancy

Lovely interpretation! Love the sky scene in the spade
Yeah, that sky scene spread among all four suits might sell on some stuff.
Hi Diane: Don’t know how I got to your Art Blog – but I’m delighted I did. Thru you, i also got to sonebody else’s blog! Embarrassed(?) that I cannot remember her name. She also had a Spade and Morning art piece.
I like your rendition of the title above. The spade contains what looks like a moon to me, not a sun. the one on the right contains many colors and is busy, more like morning begun. I like both.
I am not an artist, sadly. It is so great to possess such a talentl! At least I can appreciate the skills of another. Thank you.
