Illustration Friday – Expired
Every week Illustration Friday has a challenge for a specific word. It is a great way to showcase your work and a wonderful opportunity to meet lots of wonderful people! Anyone can join in with their entry to Illustration Friday. I so much enjoy doing this challenge. This week is Expired. This vibrant, colorful painting of Expired shows our bubble friend being Expired in the ocean. I am not sure whether these are parts of their soul being released from the body, friends clustered around in support or angels helping with the transition. Which do you think? Good luck to them! Diane – this painting with is blending of different blue colors is so calming – almost like sitting by the sea and looking up as the clouds pass by – there is nothing more peaceful that.
That is a truly intriguing picture. When I first looked at it, I thought the sky was actually the surface of the ocean and the rest was under the sea. Even after looking at it for a while, I can see it both ways – underwater and water’s surface. I love art that makes you look twice or more and keeps you challenged at trying to figure it out. Thanks for sharing this.
