Illustration Friday – Sail
Illustration Friday has a challenge every week. This week is Sail. This one is Sail into the wild blue yonder. I sure hope you like it – it is different from many I have made …. a bit of a stretch. This is a tall dignified ship sailing off in case you can’t tell – <grin>. Illustration Friday is a great way to showcase your work and a wonderful opportunity to meet lots of wonderful people! I encourage you to check it out! Lots of fun people and paintings! I have a give-away to celebrate my 500th post. You can still enter to win!! Here are the details. It is FREE to enter! Thank you for stopping by!

Sail
Sail away to who knows where
Sail to a specific place
Sail from a situation
Sail into the air for fun
Sail on the sea for pleasure
Sail to go somewhere
Sail for your heart’s desire
Sail for your heart’s delight
Sailing has often represented
Freedom!!
Adventure!!
Independence
Unkown
So often now these desires
Can be met by sailing inside
To know ourselves better
Or sailing into the unknown
To create new ways to
Preserve the Earth
Enjoy and Align!!

I will not enter your free give away out of sheer stubbornness, because I never win anything, but I think the bubble sail works. It’s clear without explanation what it is meant to be.
I think I need to start visiting your other art website to see what you do there. I will start doing that today. I am sure you make more than bubblescapes.
Hugs…
I love the colors and the feeling of this one! I can actually make out the shape of a small sail in the reflection of your “tall ship.” 🙂 The wild blue yonder sounds good to me right now!
Diane , the color combinations are very interesting and nice.
Wonderful, Diane, I love the peace it evokes!

Nice — really like the other-worldly colors.
