Illustration Friday has a challenge every week. This week is Punchline. Most us have felt like the Punchline at times … surely that little fellow does … she surely does feel smaller than everyone else after she was the Punchline. Guess we all need to pay a little more attention to ourselves and others – making sure we don’t unkindly make others the Punchline and reaching out to others!! Punchline

It seemed like such good fun

Yet why does the Punchline

Feel so small?

Some people can roll

With being the Punchline

But many collapse inside …

As we tease others,

Let’s try to make sure

They are in on the joke

That it is laughing With 

Not laughing At

Otherwise, the Punchline

Can be 

Cruel.

Most of us would

Never deliberately

Be cruel ~ 

So let’s pay attention

And choose to 

Be kind … 

We can have fun

Together!!

Then the joke can be

The  Punchline

Not the

Person.
