Color and Making Cards
The structure of the paintings (digital) of the last few days are the same. Â Only the color is different. Â As you know I love, love to play with color!! Â It is fascinating to me that these paintings are identical except for the color. To me they each give such a very dissimilar feel … does this engage you also? Â The last few points have been short so it should be easy to see them fairly close together. I would love to hear your thoughts.

The order for Whole Foods is completed (except for delivery). Â I always forget how many details there are in producing cards. Prepare the files to print and print them very carefully and let them dry. Then there are 2 cuts on each card – one taking off the vertical excess and one the horizontal excess. Â After that they need to be folded and packaged up.
But then the other part of being in business is making invoices. Â I have a program (a database) where I enter all my sales and such. Â I have a way to print invoices from there. Â But today it turned out that the invoice would only print 15 on the page. So it took an hour to figure out to change the layout to print 20 on the page. Â I figured that – so great I have it for the future. But notice all the time this takes.
Then there is one other thing … I am the one who is a vendor with Whole Foods. So that means that I need to make an invoice with both of our cards they bought and then rework the invoice into 2 separate ones for our database. Also Whole Foods asked if I could trade out some of the stock they had for some new cards. That, again, means going through databases to change the invoices to have accurate records. Given all this paper (well, ok computer) work, it is amazing I get anything done!

Great that you are selling your cards at this upscale green store – impressed.
Great bread, cheese, produce and your cards…..my best.
Yay Diane, workhorse extraordinaire. I think the different colours are great. They will also make nice sets of cards and the rest. So good to hear you are producing these beautiful things and doing business. It is a lot of work though.
Keep well
It all sounds very complicated and I wonder if you don’t get overwhelmed. It must be very exciting to do and raise a blush to your cheeks. I get behind myself just from sleeping too much and my life is not that complicated.
Be good to yourself, don’t work too hard, but do have fun!

Wow! amazing site.
I read similar article also named Color and Making Cards, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me
