Illustration Friday – Multiple
Illustration Friday has a challenge every week. This week is Multiple. I want to clarify something I said. I have been calling this series of bubblescapes digital paintings … I think digital can be paintings too. I did not mean to mislead anyone into thinking these are created with a physical paint brush. In my mind the incredible program Painter has made digital painting a reality. These are not done on Painter.

Bubbles in multiple, I like that! I like your take on multiple too, that each one is the same yet different and that there are multiple ways of looking at the world.
No, I never thought you sat there with tiny brushes every day and hand painted these wonderful bubbles. That would truly be a miracle. Even Vermeer and Rembrandt couldn’t have mastered that.
You “multiply” yourself every day, in more ways than one, as if there are multiple Dianes doing multiple tasks. There should be a “multiple tasks blogger award.”
Then there should be a “I have so much time on my hands award” for people like me who can take it easier. Too much is never a good thing for me.
Fabulous little painting and I love that it’s digital. Very nice translation of ‘multiples’ too.
