Featured in Five For Friday & Book Meme
Fish Hawk of As the Crackerhead Crumbles, asked me if he could put one of my paintings on his blog on a Friday. Each Friday he has a Five For Friday post where he features 5 images from other bloggers with a link to their blog. You have seen this digital painting recently, but I am showing again because it is being featured today. Here is today’s Five For Friday. I am glad he is inspired by my work!

The other Frances tagged me with a Book Meme. I still am not quite sure what a meme is … but I bet I will get an enlightening comment from this post. Here are the rules:
Pick up the nearest book of 123 pages or more. (No cheating!)
Find Page 123.
Find the first 5 sentences.
Post the next 3 sentences.
Tag 5 people.
Well, I can’t find the book I am reading .. I have too many newspapers to go through and I have temporarily lost it. So here is a book from a pile I have been meaning to look at again. It is The Tenth Insight by James Redfield.
Despite this restrictions, science began to map out and describe the operation of the physical world, providing information rich in ways to increase trade and utilize natural resources. Human economic security increased, and slowly we began to lose out sense of mystery and our heartfelt questions about the purpose of life. We decided it was purposeful enough just to survive and build a better, more secure world for ourselves and our children. … I am going to break the rules …. Gradually we entered the consensus trance that denied the reality of death and created the illusion that the world was explained and ordinary and devoid of mystery.
Viola! And, please if you would like, consider yourself tagged and continue this Book Mme. Just leave a note here and then we can go check you out. Thank you!
Late breaking news!! I am in another Treasury! Here is the post on my other blog if you want to see the Treasury.

Your bubbles make me smile, I love them! Congrat’s to you on the five for five and Etsy…you are rockin!
Congratulations to you on all of this, Diane! Beautiful bubblescapes, I love “Bliss”. Just delightful.
Please don’t get upset with me. For I really do love “Angel Love” and I do agree that its colors were perfect for Valentine’s Day; but I actually like “Bliss” better.
Anyway: thank you so very much for being so gracious to mention the post in such a illusturous place as this. For that is something I did not expect.
Gorgeous scapes – pastel blends are subtly wondrous….my best.
I loved Angel Love and was quite lyrical about it, but I also love Bliss because of the beautiful sky. I am quite taken by it and imagine it to be a piece of heaven. I don’t know how you do it, Diane, but it is all kind of magical.
I love Bliss and I love the tag idea. Don’t tag me still can’t figure it out and I don’t feel well. Love the two beautiful images though!
Dear dear Diane saw your comment on Irenes site. I will send you a valentines present by mail if you send me your address. I love sending presents!
Too hard to decide, I love them both. Angel Love reminds me of luscious sherbet and Bliss is so calming. Both nice works. I read the 10th Insight a long time ago and so was interesting to read a few lines. I really like this non-meme book meme and have found it very interesting to see what people are reading.
Can’t make up my mind…But I have a question about our book choice: what attracted it you to this book? Any insights??
Hello Diana! First timer and I had to let you know how much I love BLISS! Yummy colors and leaves me with soft, gentle feeling! I love your digital creations and am so glad I found your site! – vicki xo
