Two Things Challenge – Tidy/Ends
I like to enter the 2 Things Challenge each week. This week is Tidy and Ends. It was hard to come up with an idea, but at least the execution was easy for me this week! So thank you! I hope you like my entry.

Today is the first day of Kwanzaa, a 7 day celebration started in 1966. Kwanzaa is for the African American and Pan-African community to celebrate their heritage and reinforce positive community and human values. The 7 principles are wonderful – perhaps tomorrow I will list them .. I have been very moved when I have gone to Kwanzaa celebrations!!

I love these tidy ends on this bubblescape, Diane! I was reading about Kwanza today in the newspaper and thinking about attending one of their celebrations. I would like to learn more about the black community and thought this would be a good opportunity.
This is interesting because just yesterday I looked Kwanzaa up on Wikipedia and was surprised to learn that it was such a recently formed holiday. We’ve been talking about doing more next year to learn about the Christmas traditions of other cultures.
This bubblescape does look tidy, and they are all forming a perfect arc. You have made bubbles very expressive! It reminds me of the one you did for Forsaken/Foundling Two Things where one bubble was joining the bubble family. Thank you for educating me about Kwanza which I have never heard of before.
I keep thinking it’s about tight ends and how I could interpret that at the end of each month. I would have nickels and dimes floating in the air and pennies dropping from the sky. I wish we had more inter cultural festivals here to go to. It is starting a little bit in the west, but not enough around here. I would go for the food and the culture. A greater understanding achieved through my stomach.
Wonderful! A new take on the configuration of the life of bubbles and their relationships to one another. I think tying a mention into Kwanzaa was wonderful too. I know nothing about Kwanzaa and need to know more. Thank you for the link. Before I read, though, I want to spend a few uninformed minutes forming my own thoughts about what the 7 principles would be. Then, read it and be enlightened.
I really like your bubblescapes! They are beautiful, fun, colorful, joyful. I do enjoy this one, it has a quality of combining worlds together.
Well done Diane:) I love this image. It reminds me of a rainbow that I could find a pot of gold at the end of.
Bubblescapes..what a cool word!
Hope you had a fantastic Christmas!

Hi Bobbie, I am glad you were reading about Kwanzaa … did you end up going? I think it is great anytime someone wants to learn about other cultures!
Hi Chris, what a great idea to learn more about other traditions! At the post office I saw a stamp with EID and it was a pretty stamp too … so I looked it up and want to learn more too.
Hi Beverly, I am glad you like these bubbles and delighted you like to learn about Kwanzaa.
Hi Irene, I would like to see what you come up with for tight ends … and yes, the culture of food is often accessible!
Hi Debi, I wonder how close your idea of the 7 principles are to those of Kwanzaa?
Hi Kris, so glad you love my bubbles!!!
Hi Lisa, rainbows … what a good idea!! Glad you are safe and sound!
