Two Things Challenge – Hold/Value — 11 Comments

  1. You seem to have got all the words there that hold the most value for people. I like the elegant lettering which gives them suitable gravitas. Great that they are given their due with such a beautiful background.

  2. I would love to hear more about marketing. That seems to be the biggest hurdle to doing what we love. Everything is contingent on what sells and sometimes I think that takes the creativity and the ability to take a leap away.

  3. It seems we have the same thoughts (Bev too) about what is important. The qualities of who we are, the things we are passonate about, and of course health and family. I love your bubbles and these pink frosty ones are no exception.

  4. Sure, tell us marketing stories, I am sure that there is lots we can learn. I will probably enter that realm myself one day. I hope you don’t get snowed in and if you do, that you have enough groceries to last you. Very beautiful image of bubbles and all the right words.

  5. I enjoyed reading every word that held value for you. And I nodded my head in perfect agreement.

I also agree that I would like to hear more about marketing. PLEASE! I keep thinking it is something I might go back to (daughter and I sold aprons for a short while) and would like to pick up any valuable tidbits you care to share.

  6. Well done Diane! I like your addition of the words to your work.Your bubbles are in such contrast to the snow!
I enjoy your posts because I can tell they are from an educated perspective so post away and we shall read!

  7. Hi Diane,
I love the original painting too, it’s just beautiful. With the addition of the words, it is a lovely piece for the Hold/Value challenge.

I find your colors and light so gorgeous. It’s kind of a winter light too. Even though I well remember how challenging it was to live in real winter, there was a certain light reflected off the snow and a silence added by the snow that I miss. It’s a cozy feeling to be inside on a day like this. I hope you get to stay in and be warm!

  8. Diane,
I LOVE this! When I look at it, it makes me feel joyful too!
I agree with Kris, I adore the original painting, but the words make it great for the challenge. The colours are fantastic.
I would love to hear more of your marketing stories, I think it would be very interesting.
