Newsletter in Process
This is the newsletter that I have been working on today … I can’t send it out until tomorrow. Here on the blog it wanted to put them in a list instead of 2 together. I am sure you can see them anyway!!
This is another step in the series I am writing about marketing. Thank you for being interested!! I am still behind … this took a lot longer than expected … I ran into problems because I am not using regular newsletter software. You can see the Handmade Pledge icon on my sidebar (not too far down).
Hi Family and Friends,
I am so excited that I want to share what I have been doing in the last 3 or 4 months. I have been getting my artwork out to the world in different online shops. Please, if you have trouble with the links, copy and paste into your browser. Thank you! Please feel free to share this with others that you think might be interested.
Every gift I give will be handmade by myself or another artist. This year I took the Handmade Pledge (http://www.buyhandmade.org) along with many others, artists and non-artists alike. I am letting you know about some of my shops to help you take part in celebrating the Holidays with personal items.
I have opened Diane’s CafePress Shop (https://www.cafepress.com/dianeclancy) where I sell mugs, totes, journals, tiles and more with my original paintings. My Dad also let me use some of his bird images! Here are a few examples of the merchandise that is available. I hope you find something you love!! These items you would buy directly from CafePress.
I also have Diane’s Etsy Shop (https://www.dianeclancy.etsy.com) where you can buy cards, prints and Art Trading Cards. Art Trading Cards are a 2.5 x 3.5″ print in a hard plastic card holder. They are an incredibly fun and affordable way to collect art. (I just recently found out about them myself and am very excited in case you can’t tell!)
If you prefer you can buy directly from My Website (https://www.dianeclancy.com) or By Phone 413.773.7333. Any of the images I have I can sell you as fine art 5 x 7″ full bleed cards ($4) to 2.5 x 3.5″ Art Trading Cards ($6) up to 11 x 14″ in a mat in a 16 x 20″ frame ($125). If you want a larger image, I have a few paintings at ImageKind (https://dianeclancy.imagekind.com/dianeclancy) and can offer any other images you are interested in. Just let me know.
In the newsletter I put more examples of my work here that you can get in cards and prints. But you can look on the blog and site and this is taking very long to translate over. There are dozens more at my site (https://www.dianeclancy.com) and blog (https://www.dianeclancy.com/blog).
Thank you for considering allowing me to be part of your holiday gift giving. I would love to help you feel delighted and inspired as you search for that special something! I wish you a most a most joyous, healthy and peaceful holiday season.
Blessings and Light,
Diane Clancy
P.S. I am planning to send a newsletter every couple of months as a way of keeping in touch and sharing my artistic journey with you.

wow – you sure have been busy!!!
It must be hard having to sell your precious objects that you care about so much. Yet, at the same time you want them out there in the world for other people to enjoy. I am sure that you feel a certain amount of motherly pride about them. I wish you lots of luck sending your “children” out into the world. I hope they brighten everybody’s day.
These are lovely works, and especially nice to have art on mugs and notebooks. Very inspiring every time you have a cup of tea! I especially like the Buddha and swan. I think the swan perfectly sums up everything about Buddhism, the serenity, the grace, and as it is swimming along, a graceful thing at one with it’s environment. Probably that sums up the sentiments of Buddhism, and how ideally how to live one’s life.
Hi Ascender, Yes I have and you have been too!!
Hi Irene, You are absolutely right!! It is sometimes hard to sell my work – especially my favorites!! And YES I want others to enjoy them and be uplifted!! That is partly why I do a lot of prints and want to pursue licensing. Thank you!!!
Hi Beverly, thank you so much for your support. Yes, I love this piece with Buddha and the swan!!
Thank you!

I love those notebooks Diane! Very arty and inspiring:)
Good on you for being dedicated enough and for having enough faith in yourself to produce them. There’s a lot of love and passion that goes on behind the scenes as I know all to well!
Aren’t they beautiful as mugs and notebooks? How thrilling it must be to see your babies in a whole new light. I’ll keep you in mind next time I’m shopping for a colorful, uplifting gift. And shouldn’t all gifts be colorful and uplifting?
Hi Rima, Thank you so much! I could do with a little less stress for sure … the same to you!
Hi Ellie, yes, something more on our lists … just what we need!! I will talk about the bubbles more … they are mostly done in Bryce. I am delighted to.
Hi Lisa, I am so glad you like the notebooks. Yes, there has been tons of love and passion behind the scenes!
