Bio-Diversity of Species Part #1 (Humans) — 10 Comments

  1. Diane, first I want to say that I love your bubble pictures. I was reminded of my mom when you were talking about diversity. She used to say that if everyone was the same what a boring world it would be.

  2. I heartily agree with your comments in this post, Diane, and I hope that I will always appreciate diversity and not be intimidated by it. It is so easy to see ‘other’ as a threat to ‘our.’ Luckily, I live in a diverse neighborhood and there are people of all colors and cultures and religion and social class. It is good to be reminded that I am somewhere in the middle of all of these people. Physically and mentally.

  3. Hi Bobbie, I am thrilled you like this bubble series .. I have been working hard on them … with many versions not fit for others’ eyes as I figure out what I am doing. Good for your mom about diversity!

Hi Irene, I am so glad you support these comments … it is important that we treat each other well!! You are lucky to live in a diverse neighborhood. It is a good reminder that none of us are the best or the worse … we are in the pack.

  4. Brava Diane. Well said. I agree with every word. The sooner we learn to know people’s by the spirit and core instead of being distracted by appearances and lifestyle, the sooner we can realise we are all just human beings.

  5. Hi Frances, so glad you agree. I think you said it so well – learn to know people by spirit and core instead of appearances! I think the blogosphere has great potential for that. thank you!
