Changing Direction
This is one of the dozens of images I am using for my CafePress shop … many of them aren’t on the merchandise yet … but a whole bunch are onsite now. I have read that it is easy to set up a shop and hard to get people to come. I am sure it will be challenging to market the shop, but I disagree with whoever wrote that! It is easy to register for a shop but TONS and TONS of work to prep images correctly so they print fantastically and to organize and write text and search tags and such. All that said, I encourage you to try it! The tile shop has the most examples of the images I am using so far … but many, many more coming!

I got more or less caught up on commenting on your blogs … and a long time ago I heard loud and clear that that was a higher priority than a longer post on mine … so I listened!

very bubbly, this one! also very lovely
Smooth and delectable. Edible and chewable. Sweet and luscious. Yum!
You are my CafePress trailblazer. I do hope it works well for you. Besides Chris’s purchase, have you had any other purchases there yet?
I couldn’t agree more, again! (I just wrote those words on your xanga) I have been working on cafepress too and it just gets so dreary and hard getting the image just right and loaded up and on each thing you want to sell. I think overall it will be worth it though, if only for another place to get your art out there! And where else is it going to go if it isn’t going to go “out there”? 🙂
Hi Rima and Irene, I am so glad you like this image … I decided it was time for a change …
Hi Sue, Thank you for your good wishes!! I sure need them … I have spent days doing this .. but I am using 65 images to start. I will be glad to share info with you and anyone else!
Chris got a mug and loves it – and I have someone that I have made some Fanciful Animal Images from 2 of her dogs. I met her at Etsy. And she has been getting some merchandise with her 2 dogs on it … so that it hopeful. I think I might sell some things if people can find their way to me …
Hi Mariam, Thank you for coming by! I am so glad you agree with how dreary it is! The only other person I know who did CafePress set up a simpler shop – probably smart … but I have such variety!
Thank you for your encouragement!! What it your shop? Mine is CafePress.com/dianeclancy … I would love to go check out yours too.
Thank you again to everyone who stopped by!

Diane, you are a very good friend and I am always happy that you have the time to read and leave a comment. You are a truly dedicated artist too: I like this new direction (very happy and airy) and I appreciate the immense work and emotional exhaustion you put in your cafe press. I am slowly learning what cafe press is and I will try to follow up your efforts. You deserve the best, my dear friend. Good luck!
Dear Neda, Thank you so much for all your kind words!! This kind of appreciation that you and others give me makes a gigantic difference in my being able to keep on trucking!!
