Open for Titles — 4 Comments

  1. Hi Diane,
This is also part of my larger focus in my work, but what I see in this piece is an ancient language, kind of like cuneiform or runes..archaic, esoteric. And hey, tell your friends to start leaving comments here instead of emailing you. Your commenters want to read them too. 😀

  2. Diane, I am so glad you decided to go with titles. The tough part is really choosing them. I would suggest – for ease of reference at first — to name your pieces in reference to colors (that’s what I do when I am stumped…until a better title SUGGESTS itself…). For example: Rhapsody in Blue, Shades of Autumn, etc.

To go back and change the titles: this might take a looong time to do but maybe you would want to re-save everything in a separate file and methodically rename them. I really would not worry abt that now, just loosen up and create, create, create, and have fun!

  3. Sometimes when people email me, I ask if I can post their email. Actually I have done that with both of you!

I like the idea of an ancient language.

I usually don’t work in layers in this program but you can.

I guess I should have been naming them as I went along. I like short series of the same name – like those Flower Essence ones. I was trying to make a point that they were all from the same source images … but I would have been less confused with real names.

So I shall try to do better!
