Toys II
Looking for a birthday party! This wrapping paper design is looking for a company to make it into actual wrapping paper. Already I have cards showcasing this digital painting, but my customers are wanting the paper to go with the cards.

I am exploring licensing for my designs. Someone would be allowed to use my designs (paying a royalty, of course) to make products that they then market. Licensing has become quite a large part of the art marketing field nowadays.
If you would like to read about the details of how I create this kind of design, please check out the post Flowers XVII. When I saw all these cute toys, I just had to make them into a design that the kid in me sure loves.
It was a glorious day here and in this area most people are very happy that the sun is out and the day is warm. Hope you enjoyed your weekend!

Hi Diane,
I’m curious to know if you have contacted many publishers about licensing and if you’ve had much response yet?

I haven’t contacted publishers recently. I have sort of been waiting because I have a friend with a lot of experience who volunteered to steer me in the right direction. Unfortunately, she has been dealing with serious health issues lately so I have been waiting. At some point I will need to just dive in.
I have been researching though … I have quite a list of potentials and have gone through some of the sites to get an idea of the process nowadays with licensing. It has changed dramatically! It is important to submit to the kind of sites where my work is compatible.
Given my different styles, those would be different places for my various work. Also, I am working on finsihing 3 pieces for series – since they (used to anyway) suggest series. And I am partway done digging my studio out of being weatherized. It goes on …
Thank you for asking!

Hey Sister Di I am so psyched to see your blog is proceeding at the right pace.
Keep your nose to the grinding stone, rewards – large – will follow.
Far out!

Hi Brook –
Thank you so much for your kind, kind comments. I appreciate the support!
Can you explain what the image is that I see when I click on your link above? I am pretty new to the blogging world and am not sure I understand it. Does it mean that you put my blog in your favorites at del.icio.us ? If so, great!!
Hope you come back and read and post again!
