It is easy to see Clancy’s work enhancing decor in a variety of settings.

Conundrum

These “Bubblescapes” are delightful. She often incorporates her favorite colors of aquas, pinks, and purples into these digitally created scenes.

Ocean Dreams

Peach Fantasy

Diane works in a variety of traditional mediums creating radiantly colorful paintings. Her variety of mediums, styles and sizes give you a huge selection to pick from.

Diane also has a line of “Fanciful Animal Images.” What an imaginative way to celebrate your special animal, and enhance your interiors.

Freckles

Lady

These “Fanciful Animal Images” would be adorable in any children’s room with a special pet, or look quite wonderful in sitting areas.

I find Diane’s work to be energetic and yet peaceful. Her color choices, design and composition show a sharp eye for a creation sure to grace your walls! With work priced from $4.00 to well over $1000.00, you easily find something for every budget, any room, or that special gift.

The Design Style Guide is a wonderful new place that is bringing together thousands of items that are appropriate for Home Decor. Their main purpose is to promote the team and its members to Interior Designers (and like-minded consumers) through various promotions and advertising techniques.

This group is also known as the Interior Design Team at Etsy. This is part of the move to promote handmade items instead of mass produced things. Their focus is on marketing and branding “Handmade Home Decor” to professional Interior Designers.

I saw my doctor yesterday. She said my lungs are pretty clear now, but that I am very, very weak. She doesn’t want me out of the house (around people so I will not get another infection). So this is an update .. I am still pretty weak and tired. I will catch up as I can.

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

Illustration Friday has a challenge every week. This week is Homage. This is Homage to my sweet sweet kitty, Freckles, as he was passing from this earth to the other side … and celebrating him!! I had some bubblescape ideas but they just didn’t fly. Illustration Friday is a great way to showcase your work and a wonderful opportunity to meet lots of wonderful people! Homage

Homage can

Come from Love

As for this

Little kitty

My beloved little kitty

Who is

Getting celebrated

As he arrives

At the Other Side.

Homage can come from

Respect

As with the

Dalai Lama

Beloved, honored and respected.

Homage can come from

Imbalance

Such as

False Idols,

Putting someone on a

Pedestal

and other such

Not Worthy Ideas.

But Homage,

Respectful and loving,

That kind of Homage,

Is wonderful and

Gracious

Delightful and

Uplifting

Homage.

I am being featured as one of the Etsy shops on the Art of Color Blog … The Color of the Day is Red has one of my animal cards …  Very cute blog!! Thank you for including me!!

I thought you would like this image of our family pet - just kidding. We took it out in the back yard - just kidding. But I did make this fanciful animal image.

I found this blog the other day - It is called Power Guides … and lists top artist blogs - AND this blog is listed! I am very excited!!

I am now really hoping to be well enough to go Friday for the Remicade … my body desperately needs the treatment and I think the infection might at last be backed off enough - even though I am no where near well. Thank you again for all your good wishes!!
