Here is one of the vibrant, colorful paintings I created a few days ago – an Art Card, ACEO (2 1/2 x 3 1/2″).  This one is called Blue Twilight – I hope you are enjoying these pastels!!   Today I created 1 more flower pastel – but it will take me a couple of days to get it scanned and prepped.

Today was a rough day physically as 2 extra things got put onto my day … so I am exhausted.  But things are plugging along and it is going to get cooler tomorrow.  I just came by to say HI and share a vibrant, colorful painting you have not seen yet.  Love to hear how you are!! Every week Illustration Friday has a challenge for a specific word. It is a great way to showcase your work and a wonderful opportunity to meet lots of wonderful people! Anyone can join in with their entry to Illustration Friday. I so much enjoy doing this challenge. This week is Theater. This vibrant, colorful painting of Theater showcases this Theater troupe that is performing for all the other bubbles.  The audience in the tree are absolutely delighted at the Theater and pageantry that they are witnessing.  Notice all the special effects that are in this Theater – they have figured out how to do this, even outside.  Also, if you notice, none of the actors look like themselves – they are all larger than life and putting a fantastic Theater!  I encourage you to check Illustration Friday out! This took quite awhile to get the “feel” right – but I am pretty happy with the result.  It is now plenty hot here .. the house has warmed up enough at last … and gotten actually VERY warm!  Thanks so much for being in my life and caring!!  What you are up to at this point of your life? Here is one of the two vibrant, colorful paintings I created a few days ago – an Art Card, ACEO (2 1/2 x 3 1/2″).  This one is called Sunny Blue – I hope you are enjoying these pastels!!   Today I created 2 more flower pastels – but it will take me a couple of days to get them scanned and prepped.  I wish I had an easier system to share them with you the day I create them!  That is one of the beauties of digital art!! I got this one listed as an original in one of my shops!!  Each original is listed in only one shop – since I don’t want to deal with the possibility that at any original (so only ONE original) would sell at 2 shops at the same time!!  This one is listed at my ArtFire Shop.  I might make some limited edition prints (that means, a certain number, not open-ended) … but there is just this one original!  This is listed right here at ArtFire.

I am very excited to now have an original at three shops online!!  Making progress!  Thank you so much for coming by and looking at these!  The originals have no signature on the front – only the back – and the color is more delicate than it is here.  The prints I make will be a little more vibrant as the color is here.  I lightened the images for the shops of the originals to more accurately represent the color.

These listings can take so long!!  I have a free membership at ArtFire so I haven’t been there for a bit.  Several things have changed so now I need to go back through all my listings and make changes – not my cup of tea!  But necessary to be an artist in business. Here is another one of these vibrant, colorful paintings – an Art Card, ACEO (2 1/2 x 3 1/2″). This is a quick post … just want to share another creation with you.  I am having a fun time making these little pieces of art!!  I LOVE this one!!  The colors make my heart sing!

To me these colors just dance with each other … with total joy and beauty!!  My eye keeps going from one part of the painting to another.  And the dance is horizontal, vertical and diagonal … so that makes it a good design to keep the eye drawn in.  I looked at a version in grayscale to make sure the underlying composition works and not just the color – it still dances.  So I would say this is a winner!

It is warm and glorious here today – at last I am warm enough!  It was up to 89 degrees.  It might have been a little warm outside but inside it was the first time in months I have felt really comfortable!  Thank you for stopping by!!  I would love to hear how YOU are!

This Earth Day vibrant, colorful painting shows humanity taking a leap into our next level of awareness so that we may live more in harmony with our environment.  Today is Earth Day – let’s all do what we can to make this planet and ourselves healthy for humanity and all living beings!!  Each step we make helps ourselves and all others!   Many of us are in the process of being more aware, concerned and thoughtful about multiple issues.  It is amazing all the wonderful groups and concerns that come into my InBox at Facebook.  Pretty incredible and inspiring.  Many of us are working to make our foot print on the earth smaller … and looking for more ways to reduce our impact.  Yay for all of us participating in this consciousness!  And there is so much left that we still need to do.

Hopefully with the new leadership in the US taking a role in leading the way with these environmental realizations, there will be lots more progress.  It is so important that we do this at the micro and macro levels!!  Thank you to everyone who contributes to caring for the earth!  What do you do to contribute to caring for the Earth?  What do you want to do in the future?  What would you like to do but just can’t imagine doing?  Any thoughts are appreciated!

This vibrant, colorful painting of Impossibility -  How do I start with the Impossibility?  As you can see, all my bubblescapes are Impossibility.  But this one shows all these various beings defying gravity as they balance on top of each other.  Then let’s talk about the ones that are horizontally lined up – how DO they do that??  Impossibility!!  But this patient parent and teacher is working with these beings and showing the ropes to the newest little one there.  Perhaps there IS no Impossibility!!  I encourage you to check Illustration Friday out! Lots of fun people and paintings!
