Two Paintings to Name
Hi everyone .. I am fairly exhausted. I think the stress of the last 6 weeks is catching up with me. I am not feeling well or functioning very well. I have these ideas I want to blog about (and other things to do) but I just can’t – it is as if I am in a thick, unpleasant fog .. and just not able to think very well. I think I need rest big time .. but do not feel rested from resting.

I am hoping you might enjoy giving some naming and feedback love to these 2 paintings .. I like them both in different ways. Thank you so much for sticking with me!!

Once again Diane you have really captured my imagination with your brilliant use of my favorite color. Each center seems as if it serves as its own center of calm in an storm of chaos. These works seem to serve as a microcosm of real life. Constant change all around, but the centers serve as an anchor of sorts. Perhaps I’m being too philosophical here, but your works really move me. Thank you again.
Now as for your health, please take care. I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say that you should be with us for a long time to come. Try to rest. I know all too well that life can be draining. Just always remember to unplug every once in a while, and find that calming center amidst that swirl of chaos. Be well my friend.

You are not resting enough, if you don’t feel well rested after resting. Please take care of yourself, Diane. I think it is okay if you skip a day now and then. Being creative requires a lot of energy.
Lovely paintings. I can’t right now think of any names that would do them justice. I would have to think about it for awhile. My brain is a little tired.
Much love,
Irene

Hi Diane.. I just saw this on FB.. and I hear ya! Listening to all this news, bad news, and what it’s doing to the market is making me insane. I turn off the radio and tv for the day and only listen at night when I”m not working on networking, etc. I hope you’re better.. sometimes it just takes day to get out of the funk.. and others around you can’t wait till you do either!
I think the painting reminds me of painted ceilling! So.. I would name it Celtic Ceiling!
happy St Pat’s Day! Blimey!

Thank you to each of you who have taken time to comment. I so much appreciate your saying you like them and follow what I show and read … even if you don’t usually comment!! You mean a lot to me!!
Lester, you are not being too philosophical at all!! I love it!! I think in those terms too – usually after I create!!
I want to use these paintings as an example of work that I do so I really would like to name them right now!! So here goes ….
Precious Abundance is the name for first one.
Celtic Centering is the name for the second one.
I actually decided on the two names before I knew which went with which. But I asked the paintings and they told me which one was which. Thank you all so much!!
