What Does This Say To You?

To me this image gives a sense of something more than meets the eye …. The colors are so clear … it almost looks like Alice in Wonderland to me – or is it – a meeting of the minds?  I like it even though it is somewhat different from many of my vibrant, colorful paintings.  I would love to hear what YOU think!  I have been straight out today – so this is my little oasis for me .. thank you for sharing it!

To me it looks like a peaceful pond . I see water life there . But maybe magnified as in looking through a microscope. Great colors.

I see an owl, which makes me think of the night, and the moon, and intuition. I see winged things – butterflies – which makes me think of tiny mythic worlds. This image reminds me of flying dreams… thank you for that!

The first thought that popped into my head when I saw this painting was “whimsical soul”. The soul always swims merrily and joyfully with the flow of life. Some people have lost touch with that part of themselves and are flowing upstream not fully expressing their soul. In this painting, I see a soul playfully expressing itself in the stream of life.

btw, I’ve been a fan of your work for some time. I love the ‘eye’ painting that you often use as an icon. (not the name of the piece but I don’t know what the official name of it is – couldn’t find the full painting on your site)

    Love + laughter,

It’s as if I am above looking down on a beautiful creek winding around hills and two love birds and butterflies. Tulips and bees. The greens and blues make me feel connected with earth and sky.

My first thought was psychedelic 60′s and opening of your mind. It made me continue to look at the picture for hidden meanings…

To me it looks like a moment of spiritual conception which the universe has gathered to watch. All the images in the painting seems gathered around the central image of energy being sent a received. There is a special watchful and present moment feeling, like we are just on the verge of seeing something miraculous occur.

I love this piece. The colors are wonderful and it’s whimsical and cosmic at the same time.

To me it looks like a falling apart fairy, all it’s individual parts are floating away from each other. The wings are way over to the right.

I must have a catastrophic attitude today, jeez!

    Much love,
    Irene

The colors are wonderful and it has a great sense of energy, motion and creativity in it.

It looks like the basis of the image is water and earth, and elements of both coming together in unusual but beautiful ways. Instead of like elements matching with like elements, they are mismatched, but in harmony.
