Bottlescape II and Alice

I always think of Alice in Wonderland with this. To me, this is like being small and going into the forest of the vases and teacups. Hence Alice. I hope you enjoy it.

I am very tired and also not breathing as well again. I am back with the nebulizer. So I just have to realize that I do need it at least every couple of days for now. That’s ok.

    Wow Diane
you are showing us more and more sides to your creativity. Love these pastels and yes, love that magical surreal Alice in wonderlandy feel to the image. Atmospheric and quirky at the same time.
But so sorry you had a knock on the health side. It is so hard to accept bad health when you just want to get on with all your projects and life in general.
    Look after yourself.

You have so many creative facets, Diane. I enjoy seeing them revealed. I do hope you feel better soon.

So sorry you are not feeling so well again. This does have an Alice in Wonderland feel, and the painting feels so bright and lively that it also reminds me of that Disney film (on an Alice in Wonderland/Disney thought track here) where the pots and cups are alive, which one was it, Beauty and the Beast.

Feel better - it has to be so hard. I like this - feel better and take care.

Diane, I’m so very sorry you are having difficulty again. Do take very good care of yourself! I like this piece. Creating is such a healing thing, isn’t it!
