Your Art Marketing – New Forum
I hope you will check out an exciting new forum – YourArtMarketing.com. Chris O’Byrne of Online Arts Marketing and I have been getting a lot of questions aboutart marketing – online and off. I know I am delighted that people think it is worth asking me questions! I like that a lot. We both have also noticed that many times we get asked the same or similar questions very often … so it made sense to us that we have a forum all of us can come together and ask questions and get answers. This way, people will also have a chance to hear other people’s answers.
Your Art Marketing
There are 15 members signed up now … it is exciting! We have laid out a grid work of wonderful topics ~ and started to fill them in with art marketing information. Several of you have mentioned that you are wanting to look into different kinds of online marketing. I have written brief, but detailed, overviews of selling at Etsy and CafePress. I plan to write more overviews of other shops. And I am sure there will be shops that others can write the overview for shops that I know nothing about.
It is fun that several people have already shared resources with everyone that I knew nothing about!! It is wonderful to me to have this place where as artists (and supporters are welcome too) can get together and talk about what is important to us. The content is still being built up for sure. But especially being so new we are super-receptive to feedback to make sure this resource is usable to a wide variety of artists!!
I hope all of you will go and register there … There are login links (at the top right or way down at the left bottom) – click one of them and then you will go to log in. Under user name you can click “Register” and follow the directions to register. I promise you we will never use your information for anything else!! Of course, we respect your privacy!! Usually very quickly you get ok’d (Chris and I are active a lot at the moment) and then you can post. Please go to Introductions, and click on New Topic and introduce yourself. Everyone gets a topic so people can see each other more easily!!
This is another bubblescape from the Simple Pleasures series. I have more yet – but there are not enough days for all the artwork I have. I hope you are still enjoying this series honoring simplicity and the beauty of daily living.

Thank you for all your support and help!! I am always eager to hear about you … and I have been vaguely keeping up with blogs .. but behind some … Here’s to hope and fantasy!

Diane, this is beautiful. I enjoy your simplicity series. It looks good for you too, very healing!! I am excited about the new site and have already signed up. I’ll check in there today. I will write a piece about Boundless Gallery after I’ve updated my site there.

The grid looks great, with all the pieces on a similar theme. I like this bubblescape, the bubble looks like a globe – a clever effect.

Diane, loooove seeing new art! We need extra days in the week to have room for all we want to blog
Wanted to say thanks, too, to you and Christ for the new forum. I’m really digging it — and I can’t believe I forgot it in my first draft publication of the “rampant appreciation”!! Your note reminded me and I just updated that entry to include a link in there now. It’s very exciting to be watching people join, see the discussions grow. Thank you for the invite!
Miracles!!

Hi Diane, I can’t say a sensible thing about marketing, not being in that line of business at all myself, but I did just want to say hello to you and let you know I was here. I am still enjoying the bubbles and could rhapsodize about them endlessly and also imagine sitting there with a bubble blower making more of them while you color in the background. I can not imagine how you make them, but we’ll let that be your secret. Have a great day!

Hey!
I just checked out The Rasmus new Fan Page on Facebook where you can play the latest tunes from the BLACK ROSES album…
The fifth song “Your Forgiveness” is so much better than the “Livin’ In A World Without You” single… don’t you agree?
I know everyone has different tastes and all, but seriously,
the fifth song definitely sounds better than the first!
Listen (and become a fan) here:

PS: You can also win tickets and meet the band on the Facebook page
