Girl with a Pearl Earring
Thank you for all your good wishes on the business card post! Also, I forgot to tell you yesterday that Susan Elkin has posted her finalized business card too. The people who have been coming to these blogs have been an incredible help ~ people are really feeling like community!

To me, this looks like the movie, “The Girl with the Pearl Earring.” There is something about the colors of this - especially the yellow and blue that reminds me of that era.
This looks more like a design, like Beyond I and Beyond II, whereas many of these other digital paintings look more like an image, as if they are telling a story. Tomorrow you are going to see Beyond IX and the next day I will share how I made these images.
Do you have any thoughts or feelings? Please share them.

Whoops ~ I am prepping the cards for printing and decided the other version needing tweaking … so here it is …

So does this mean no more tweaking now…LOL
Serious though Diane I do want to say thanks for posting your progress with designing your business cards because it has helped me come to some decisions for my own cards that I wanted to revamp before a major exhibition that I am involved with.
You have come up with a beautiful card that is sure to catch the eye and one that is sure to stand out from the rest. *thumbsup*

i like the final card. would you send me one when you get them back from the printer?
your design feels very tribal to me. on my monitor, anyway, the colors are earthy. and i am hampered a bit by not being that familiar with vermeer(is that the right artist ?).

Sue - of course I would be glad to … just tell me which one(s) you want. Email me your address … anyone else is welcome to get them also. Thanks - you are the reason they are so good!
Vermeer is the painter … but I also saw the movie … the colors and feeling just looked like that to me … But tribal - I can see that. I think I confused everyone from what I gather … oh well, not the first time.
